Komodo dragons are wild and dangerous animals. While in their habitat:
Do not walk alone
Do not run
Avoid sudden movements
Always follow the ranger’s instructions
Women who are menstruating must inform the ranger (Komodo dragons are highly sensitive to the smell of blood)
Wear a life jacket if you are not a strong swimmer.
Do not touch coral reefs.
Do not step on corals.
Follow the guide’s instructions, especially at Manta Point where currents can be strong.
Do not litter.
Do not feed wildlife.
Do not damage nature.
Drone usage is only allowed with proper permission and according to regulations.
Mobile signal is limited on some islands.
Toilet facilities on the islands are very basic.
Estimated return time to Labuan Bajo is around 4:30 PM – 6:00 PM (depending on weather and boat type).
